IATSS Forum

For long I have been keen on learning about a leadership approach that keys on maximizing the use of group synergy to achieve a common goal. It was truly excited when I first read through online IATSS Forum where this concept of leadership is strongly emphasized. It was a great source of incentive for me to gain a chance to join the upcoming Leadership Training Program in Japan and IATSS alumni network in the future, and I succeeded! Of course, I am looking forward to see how this leadership approach is integrated into learning and teaching activities, group works, seminars, workshops, site visits… during my 57-day stay in Japan. I believe that the 52nd Batch is not just an intensive training course for young professionals to discuss and share leadership-related issues. But it’s rather an experimental learning opportunity for me and fellow participants to experience real life and work, culture, people in Japan, and from other ASEAN’s neighboring countries. It’s always interesting to learn and think together with people from diverse working sectors and cultural backgrounds. I appreciate having been given this chance to join the 52nd Batch, and together with IATSS alumni network, I hope I could do something for a better community as a “giving back” when I return Vietnam.
