Horas. Greeting from Medan to General Manager of IATSS Forum, all 53rd IATSS Forum participants, very cooperative coordinators and all readers out there. Proud of all of you...
I would like to convey my gratitude to the IATSS Forum for providing me a precious opportunity to come to Japan. I would also like to thank all committees, who selected me to be one of the 53rd IATSS participants.
I am Rafika Aulia Hasibuan, from Indonesia, you might call me by my shorter name which is Rafika. I always believe this quote “The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”. That’s why selected as one of the participants that will participate and join others from fellow Southeast Asian in Japan certainly will become my next page of my precious book.
I really love meeting new friends, seeing historical and modern sites, and experiencing new cultures. Throughout my life I have been blessed to travel to a variety of different places around the world. Every time I travel a whole new world is opened and a whole new way of thinking. I am very excited about IATSS Forum and look forward to the challenges ahead in order to enhance myself to becoming a future leader back in Indonesia.
Borrowing Mahatma Gandhi qoute “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” By being a part of this program, I expect to get various kinds of knowledge and skills with the talented young leaders of ASEAN countries and Japan. I believe that I will be inspired by meeting the young great leaders, their great perspectives would also expand my points of views, learning, and the world’s issues. Can’t wait to experience Japan. Thank you.
