IATSS Forum

To me, IATSS Forum shaped my outlook towards Japan and the Japanese way of thinking. With the tagline, “Thinking and Learning Together”, I found myself immersed with the environment and cherished every minute I was there at IATSS Forum. I came back and became President of the Malaysian IATSS Forum Alumni Association. Subsequently, I was invited by Royal Professor Ungky Aziz, our first Chairman of the IATSS Forum National Committee, to be a permanent member. Upon the demise of Professor Dato Dr. Nawawi, the second Charman of the National Committee, I was asked by all stakeholders to take on the Chairmanship, which I accepted with gusto. Since then, I have been proud of carrying on the legacy of both Royal Professor Ungku Aziz and Professor Dato Dr. Nawawi to ensure the sustainability of the IATSS Forum and that the capacity building of young professionals remains relevant in today’s competitive environment and the future.
