As a creative person, I found my stay at Suzuka very conducive for my creative juices to flow easily. It also provided me the opportunity to interact with Japanese people, understand the culture much more, and make friends with my ASEAN participants. This actually spurred me to bring my wife and children to stay in Japan for Ph.D. We had previously lived in the United Kingdom, where my wife did her post-graduate studies in printed textiles design at London St Martin. I miss IATSS Forum and Japan, and I always look forward to visiting Japan with my family.
