IATSS Forum

True to its overarching goal of providing a  platform for  “Thinking and Learning Together” among young professionals in Asia, the IATSS Forum indeed has far-reaching impacts on leadership development among its participants. Personally, IATSS Forum has brough me this far – one with a gargantuan role of leading a state university in the Philippines.

Indeed, the Forum provided me the venue to learn the value of diversity;  to explore, with newly-found life-long friends, engaging activities such as team-building, leadership workshops, field trips, cultural exchanges, and research project; and to experience an exciting Japanese cultural  adventure. My participation in the Forum is one of the best things that ever happened to my life. It resulted to greater self-awareness, increased self-confidence,  higher tolerance, more cultural sensitivity, enhanced empathy, stronger resilience, and newer global perspectives necessary to become an empowered and transformational leader.
