International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences "IATSS FORUM" Leadership Training Program in Japan For Young Professionals in ASEAN countries

It is my great honor to be the 55th IATTS Forum participant from Lao PDR because I believe it will be one of the excellent programs which will allow me to meet some ASEAN friends in Japan during my time at the IATTS Forum. Besides the great experience and enjoyments that I will get, it will be also a useful time to learn a lot of Japanese cultural aspects, including the language, food, traditional costume and lifestyles etc. As well as having lot of opportunities to communicate with the delegates from not just ASEAN, but also the local Japanese IATTS Forum staff.
Furthermore, this will help to enhance the mutual understanding of the different cultures both in ASEAN and Japan. There will be also a wide range of informative and meaningful topics of each seminar in the forum. As a result, I will gain various knowledge and skills from the participants in sharing ideas and working together because we have different backgrounds and we need to learn to listen to each other and respect other’s opinions in order to achieve the better results.
Finally, I strongly believe that this program will bring maturity to all delegates who attended the 55th IATTS Forum and also for the next generation. To me, I will have a wonderful time and achieve tremendous experience from the seminar especially from the host country, Japan.
