International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences "IATSS FORUM" Leadership Training Program in Japan For Young Professionals in ASEAN countries

Good day everyone! As the 55th IATSS Forum draws closer, I get more and more excited of what’s ahead for all of us. The mere thought of being part of the handpicked professionals from different parts of the ASEAN Region and being immersed with a team of people that are experts in equipping individuals, sharing knowledge and cultivating ideas is exhilarating. As Helen Keller puts it, “Alone we can do so little; together, we can do so much.” I can’t wait to learn from one another, collaborate and help each other!

A BETTER VERSION OF ME
The forum exceeded what I expected. I thought everything will be based on textbooks. I thought it was just about lectures, workshops and seminars. The experience was far from these things. I remembered during gasshuku, the IATSS forum staff would always remind us how important the process is. I didn’t get that at first but as days passed by and as the forum draws to a close, I realized how true it was. The process was all part of the journey to a better version of me.
