Warm greetings to all IATSS staff and fellows,
As writing this, I am blessed with happiness and gratefulness for being chosen as the next member of this wonderful circle, and being connected to inspiring liked-mind people across South East Asia.
My name is Chau (Jo) Nguyen from Ha Noi, Viet Nam. In 2013, I co-founded School 4 Kids Vietnam initiative, with the aim to support education in rural area of Vietnam, starting with providing necessity facilities and equipments such as schools and textbooks, because "Education is the strongest weapon which you can use to change the world" (Nelson Mandela).
As much as I am desperate to improve education for undeveloped area, I highly appreciate what IATSS has been giving to South East Asia community.
Learning is a life long journey, where the mentors that you have, the friends you are connected with, and the knowledge that you gain, will make you a better version of yourself. And I am happy to have highly respectable mentors and outstanding fellows to share this journey with me.
Again, I am thankful to IATSS for making this wonderful journey happened, and to all IATSS fellows for being your inspiration and motivation selves.
I am looking forward to meeting you all, and let's live, love and laugh together...a lot.
