Mina-san, konnichiwa.
Hai, salam kenal.
I am Dedy from Indonesia. I am currently working in Indonesian Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan, OJK). I am an analyst in the Regulation and R&D Group for Integrated Supervision in which the group usually deals with studies/researches and making rules/policies in order to regulate financial groups or conglomerates in Indonesia.
I cannot wait to participate in IATSS Forum and meet fellow young leaders from ASEAN countries as well as from Japan to work together to solve common problems that we have. I think the forum is a unique opportunity for me as it gives every participant a platform to share his/her thoughts, knowledge, experience, and culture as well as learning those from other participants. And on the top of that, I also can experience Japan: knowing more about its people, culture, and cities. Personally, I think that there are so many positive things that ASEAN countries, such as Indonesia, can learn from Japan as a highly developed country.
I hope that this forum can strengthen the relationship between all the involving countries. I know that ASEAN and Japan have had a great relationship (Japan is also a member of the ASEAN Plus mechanism), so I am enthusiastic to participate in a forum that can maintain or even improve that relationship.

Participating in IATSS Forum has been a great experience for me and it has been the most comprehensive short-course program that I have been participating. This program is unique and different with other leadership programs as it not only focuses on interpersonal skills, but also focuses on common issues that ASEAN countries and Japan as well as many other countries are experiencing right now, which is related to how to create a more sustainable world and how all of us can achieve the sustainable development goals. Yes, we did improve our interpersonal skills during the forum but what is more important than that is from all the seminars, field trips, and other activities in the program, we have learnt how to become a more responsible person and positively contribute to our communities. Moreover, for me personally, this program had also created a strong sense of friendship and understanding among all participants, staffs, and volunteers.

I would like to finish my feedback by saying “arigato gozaimashita” for giving me the opportunity to become a part of the program and providing me the tools to develop me to become a better person who can contribute more to the community.
Terima kasih dan sampai jumpa lagi
