IATSS Forum

Sabaidee! Hello everyone! Warmly greeting from Laos! I am Chandavieng PHIMMAVONG, or you can call me “Meenoy”. Currently, I am working as a coordination assistant at Vientiane Women and Youth for Health and Development (VYC), which under the supervision of Vientiane Women’s Union. Firstly, I would like to express my thanks to the IATSS forum team in Japan as well as Lao Youth Union team in Lao PDR, for giving me this valuable chance to participate in the 59th IATSS forum. As for my expectations for participating the IATSS Forum program, I expect myself to upgrade my leadership knowledge and skills both theory and practice, using the various methods and techniques that the IATSS forum will provide through lectures, seminars, study visits, group work, home stay, etc. I strongly believe that this forum is one of the best platforms where young Asian leaders can share and exchange one’s own knowledge and experiences among themselves. Every single person who complete this course will become leaders with a broad vision and eventually take an important role in the development of their community as well as country. In order to maximize the use of this great opportunity, I will try my best to develop my capacities and abilities in leadership skills that can also help me to improve my both personal and professional life. Looking forward to meeting all of you very soon in Japan!
