At first I was just an alternate candidate from Indonesia for the 50th IATSS Forum. I really wanted to joint this program. When the first attendee withdrew from this program It made my dream come true. I believe that the IATSS program will give me many chances to improve my skills in communication, leadership, and abilities to lead groups for my future career not just only in my company, but also in my societies.
I will meet and collaborate with many potential young leaders from Southeast Asian countries. I really know that my country has some problems to solve and my country needs more informal leaders to solve the problems. I can become an informal leader, which will help my government to solve our society’s problems. I’ve been working at an Indonesia-Japanese company. I really know how Japanese people are very disciplined, highly dedicated, now I will meet Japanese citizens and I will stay there for a long time. My stay in Japan for 55 days will be my first experience to stay away from my family and friends, but I believe I will enjoy my experience with other attendees from other countries. It will be a great chance to know Japanese culture and the culture of others from each of the attendees. I look forward to seeing you all in September.
