I’m hoping to aquire all the knowledge from those whose will teach us during the lectures and seminars’ time. IATSS Forum had brought me a light to work with the people who were different in nations, religions, cultures, etc… It starts with the Team Building training which makes all the participants feel more comfort to go along the Forum and can learn each other. Moreover, it includes field study, group study and seminars which will train me to be a good leader by using the motto of IATSS Forum, ‘Thinking and Learning together’. I do believe that I will learn a lot not only the leadership skills but also the social dealing skills at the same time at the Forum. I’m exciting to meet all the family members whose will become my host during my home stay and I would learn the Japanese culture from them. IATSS Forum is full of excitement before going because I need to do a lot of preparations according to the 2nd pre-travel kits. Besides I like to see the Fuji Mountain, Kamakura Pagoda and World Heritage Temples around Kyoto and Tokyo during my stay in Japan. I’m looking forward to seeing you all !!!
Hello Everybody! Greeting from Myanmar. I’m Nweni, one of the participants among the other ASEAN members in the 52nd IATSS Forum. After I had completed all the programs, I realized that I changed a lot in my personal and so do my career life. I would say that IATSS Forum is the program which can foster the young professionals from ASEAN within a limited time frame. Throughout the program, we faced a lot of confusions, difficulties, amazing experiences that we will never have again. We made friends, and were exchanging cultures, sharing experiences and knowledge. To the participants of the 53rd IATSS Forum, you will learn Japanese culture and meet very kind Japanese friends, too. One of the programs which impressed me the most was Gasshuku (team building training) because it made us become closer and the program made us become family at the place. We built mutual trust, opened up to others, and gained mutual understanding. And we spent more time with the friends from ASEAN to understand each cultures more. I’m using some of learning from the Gasshuku program back in my country and at work. One thing I would like to suggest is that never hesitate to take even small chances there because every single programs is for you to improve your professional capacities.
