Soursdey (Khmer word for Greeting), all IATSS Forum fellows! I’m Chamroeun (Champ) from Cambodia. With the day of the forum closely approaching, I am more and more excited to meet everyone and share with you my knowledge and experience regarding the culture and tradition of Cambodia, my professional backgrounds, and my involvement with various community and voluntary works, which I hope will shed some lights on what is happening here. In return, I am also very keen on learning similar things from you all , so we can all have a better understanding of one another and figure out how we can work together cooperatively, which can prove quite crucial with the ASEAN integration coming very soon. I also cannot wait to learn about the content mentioned in our agenda, from team-building to sustainability, to education and environment and then apply it in practice through our group projects. Among participants from such diverse professional backgrounds and nationalities, I’m confident that we will be able to learn and exchange tremendous information and ideas to improve our leadership capacity and inter-cultural understanding.
