IATSS Forum

What a coincidence, when I went to submit JENESYS 2.0 application form (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) at Lao Youth Union in Laos. While waiting for queue, I suddenly saw the announcement of the 53&54 IATSS forum on broad. It was only 5 minutes after reading and checking what IATSS is on internet by my hand phone, I saw another opportunity to go to Japan with the awesome IATSS international training where gather young professional from ASEAN countries and Japan to sharing and learning together to becoming future leader in ASEAN region. Of course, I did not hesitate to apply and finally, I was selected to be one of the 53rd IATSS members in Japan. I do believe that, if one keeps meeting with and absorbing new knowledge and skills, or following outstanding leader, one would do a great measure explore his/her potential and get inspired to improve themselves further. So, IATSS is what I have found to learn and develop myself at the same time with getting enjoyment with new friends from ASEAN countries and Japan. I am very excited about IATSS Forum and look forward to the challenges ahead in order to enhance myself to becoming a good leader back in my country. Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to the IATSS Forum for providing me a great opportunity to come to Japan. I would also like to thank all committees, who selected me to be one of the 53rd IATSS participants.

My impression about IATSS Forum is about IATSS staffs itself because they played an important role in my life during the 55 days of my stay in Japan. Frankly speaking, they are key model to follow as being a good staff for me in the future. I was encouraged a lots from all IATSS staffs to challenge myself in what I have never done before. They provided me to learn and discover myself that I could define my strength and weakness, which can shape me to be in other successful platform in the future. They are not only staffs but they are friends who always gave a good advice, entertained when we were loneliness, listened when we had problems. What I have found them that, they work as professionalism, which means all IATSS staffs have a very responsible with their work through processing of communication, interpersonal and problem solving skill for participants. I can see that, all IATSS staffs take responsibility for their own behavior and work effectively with high quality standards, and integrity as well. This is what IATSS staffs have given me lessons learned unintentionally, which is the most valuable for me to follow up in order to be a great staff like all of them.
