Hello everyone! My name is Linh from Vietnam. I knew about IATSS Forum from my colleague last year. When reading first information from the IATSS Forum website, I was very excited about the definition of leadership as “ability to make maximum use of group power toward the achievement of an objective” that the leadership approach I am keen on following. The program is a great opportunity for me to meet and understand people from ASEAN countries and Japan as well as learn and share ideas with all friends through many interesting activities (seminars, field studies, group study, and cultural exchanges). I believe that the program will bring us so much unforgettable memories and experience. I am looking forward to meeting all of you in Japan.
My name is Linh from Vietnam, one of 20 participants of the 53rd batch IATSS Forum program. I have impressed by many things during the IATSS Forum program. My first impression is the hospitality and smiles of IATSS staffs when I just came to Japan and during the IATSS Forum program. Their hospitality and smiles helped me remove all tiredness after a long trip from Vietnam to Suzuka as well as during the very hard days of the IATSS Forum program. The staffs always worked very hard and prepared everything very carefully before each event of the program. Sometimes we said that was like pre of pre of preparation. However, the very careful preparation helped all events to be organized very successfully. That is also one of my lessons learned during the program. Another impression from the IATSS staffs is that they are ready to help all participants even very late at night. During the program, I rarely felt homesick because I was staying with my family who are the IATSS staffs and all 53rd batch participants. We had a very happy and memorial time with the IATSS Forum program. I believe that the 54th batch IATSS Forum program’s participants will have a very hard but very happy time during your stay in Japan.
